Can someone accompany me while I am using the scooter?
Yes, we have volunteers who can accompany you whilst using the scooter, subject to availability. Advance notice is required.
What happens if I damage the scooter or wheelchair?
Every case will be assessed separately. You may be held financially responsible for any damage. This is explained fully when you join as a member of the scheme.
Does South Shields Shopmobility offer other opportunities?
Yes, we will soon be offering a range of activities in our training room such as friendship groups, genealogy and computer courses. Please get in touch for further details.
Once I've joined South Shields Shopmobility can I use my membership card at other Shopmobility schemes?
No, all Shopmobility schemes operate independently, you must become a member of each scheme you wish to use.
